Amber Welch is a visionary creative who has spent more than a decade shaping the artistic landscape of Central Arkansas. She is committed to creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected.

As one of the founders, owners, and now co‑executive directors of Red Curtain Theatre, Amber is committed to lead with intention, compassion, and a values‑driven approach that champions belonging, artistic growth, and a supportive, inclusive culture. She blends her skills in intuitive coaching by creating collaborative creative experiences. She also has a deep passion for youth empowerment, guiding generations of young artists and shaping the heartbeat of RCT’s thriving, inclusive community.

Originally from White Lake, Michigan and now rooted in Greenbrier, Arkansas, Amber brings more than twenty years of experience and advanced study to Red Curtain Theatre. Her career spans multiple states and engagement in over fifty productions, along with extensive crew work, vocal ensemble performances, professional stage appearances, including Walt Disney World and national vocal competitions.

At the core of her work is a belief in the transformative power of the arts—how theatre builds confidence, connection, and community. She is dedicated to creating experiences that help performers of all ages feel seen, supported, and inspired.

Johnny Passmore
Co-Owner & Co-Executive Director

Johnny Passmore  brings a deep commitment to arts education and community engagement. A proud Thunderbird from Guy, Arkansas, Johnny has built strong ties across the Central Arkansas theatre community, while also making meaningful contributions in education and real estate.

With more than 17 years of teaching experience, Johnny has taught at several schools and currently serves as a theatre teacher at Conway Junior High and High School, where he directs the annual fall play. His passion for mentoring young performers and fostering confidence through the arts is central to his work both in and out of the classroom.

In addition to his work in theatre and education, Johnny is a licensed realtor with Coldwell Banker RPM Group, consistently selling an average of $5 million in properties annually. Through his real estate business, he proudly supports Red Curtain Theatre as a season sponsor, reinforcing his dedication to sustaining the arts in the community.

Outside of his professional roles, Johnny enjoys spending time outdoors—especially at Southwinds, his HipCamp campsite along the Arkansas River in Atkins. Known for his competitive spirit, he is always ready for a challenge, particularly when it comes to Mario Party and board games.
