Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION, TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RED CURTAIN THEATRE'S YOUTH MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP AND PRODUCTION OF FINDING NEMO KIDS
REGISTRATION: This workshop is for ages 8-12. Registration will be available online from December 28, 2023, through January 5, 2024, or until registration is full, and will be on a first come, first serve basis. A limited number of spots are available for this workshop. Once the workshop is full, a waiting list will be established.
REGISTRATION FEES: The registration fee for this workshop is $275. The registration fee must be paid in full at the time of registration unless other arrangements have been made. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact us at [email protected].
AUDITIONS: Auditions will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Red Curtain Theatre in Downtown Conway (913 W Oak Street, across the street from the Chamber of Commerce). You will schedule an audition as part of the registration process. Every participant will be cast, auditions are for role placement only.
AUDITION PREPARATION: An email will be sent after registration with song selections that you may choose from for your audition. The song you select should be memorized. You will sing along with a recorded accompaniment track during your audition. You may also be asked to read from the script during your audition. The script will be provided ahead of time for review. Everyone will also learn a short dance sequence with our choreographer.
REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will be Saturdays from 9am-1pm beginning January 13, 2024. Rehearsals will be held at Red Curtain Theatre in Downtown Conway (913 W Oak Street, across the street from the Chamber of Commerce). The final tech/dress rehearsal will be held on Saturday, March 2 from 9am-1pm.
PHOTO CALL: Publicity photos will be taken Saturday, February 24 from 1-3pm at RCT. All cast will be called for publicity photos.
PERFORMANCES: Performances will be held at Red Curtain Theatre. The performance schedule is as follows:

TICKETS: Tickets may be purchased online at redcurtaintheatre.com or at the door if seats are available. We highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
REFUND POLICY: If you chose to not continue after the first rehearsal, you may request a refund of your registration fee. Please note that $50 of the registration fee is non-refundable due to materials that will have already been purchased for you. Once we begin the second rehearsal, no refunds will be issued.,
ATTENDANCE POLICY: Attendance at rehearsals is extremely important when preparing for such a large production and we encourage each participant to be at every rehearsal if possible. Any conflicts with rehearsal must be disclosed and approved in advance. Exceptions to this rule due to extenuating circumstances are at the discretion of the director. If you are removed due to attendance issues, the registration fee will not be reimbursed.
ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR POLICY: Red Curtain Theatre's mission is to provide an atmosphere that nurtures and inspires actors of all ages by offering performance opportunities through community theatre, youth workshops, private instruction, and dance. Negative attitudes and/or behavior will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to the use of foul language, disrespect toward the director, crew, volunteers and/or cast members, bullying, teasing and unwillingness to participate. The director has the option to remove you from the workshop due to poor attitude and/or behavior as determined by the director. If there is a situation where behavior and/or attitude is determined to be a problem, you will be notified once within 24 hours after rehearsal. If the situation does not improve by the following rehearsal, you will not be allowed back. If you are removed from our workshop due to negative attitude or behavior, the registration fee will not be reimbursed.
