Our acting classes are a great way to socialize, build community, and create! Students will experience theater games, studies on character development, preparing monologues, emotion/sense memory work, and many other various acting exercises. Also, and maybe most importantly, they will have a social experience with other students who share the same passion for performance. Classes will perform in a year end showcase in May. Our teen improv class is a great way for your creative, witty teen to meet others with the same quick wit and humor! It is also a great way for your more timid teens to break out of their shells and build some serious confidence. Students will learn the core fundamentals and principles of improv, focusing on various games and exercises that encourage trust, communication, agreement ("yes and"), active listening, character, status, and making your scene partner look good. Instructor: Cooper Milliken
